Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to teach graduate-level EDU courses for the upcoming winter quarter, starting 1/4/27. Classes run on an 11-week quarter schedule.

Adjunct Faculty are mentors and coaches who aim to ignite a lifelong love of learning, accommodating diverse learning styles. Applications should include unofficial transcripts for full consideration.

Qualifications

• Effective cross-level communication within a university
• Strong knowledge of academic technology and evaluation
• Proficiency in oral presentation, planning and course objective organization
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Ability to manage stressful situations professionally and ethically

Responsibilities

• Teach courses from a pre-designed curriculum using professional expertise.
• Enhance curriculum with technology and video resources.
• Utilize the online learning platform to support student learning.
• Be available to students via email, phone, text and office hours for timely feedback.
• Set high standards and clarify how students are evaluated.
• Attend faculty meetings and training as required.
