Job summary

Bayaan Academy is seeking an energetic Early Childhood Homeroom Teacher to guide Kindergarten through Grade 2 in a fully online learning environment. The role focuses on thematic literacy, numeracy, and social studies with a strong emphasis on instructional engagement and Islamic values.

You will foster a warm virtual classroom, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, and partner with families while collaborating with school leaders to support academic and character growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
• Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten through Grade 2.
• Minimum of 1 year of online teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young learners in a virtual setting.
• Energetic, lively, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style with strong classroom presence.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency with SeeSaw, Class Kick, PowerSchool, Wayground, Kahoot, and Class Dojo.
• Commitment to fostering academic excellence within an Islamic learning environment.
• Portfolio of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging thematic lessons in literacy, numeracy, and social sciences for early elementary students.
• Create a structured, positive, and developmentally appropriate virtual classroom environment.
• Use interactive teaching strategies, movement, arts and crafts, manipulatives, games, visuals, and storytelling to actively engage young learners.
• Foster student participation, confidence, and independence while maintaining strong classroom management.
• Develop and implement standards‑aligned lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of students in KG–Grade 2.
• Differentiate instruction to support a variety of learning styles and abilities.
• Utilize digital learning tools and hands‑on tools to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
• Integrate Islamic values and character education throughout instruction.
