Walden University seeks a dynamic, innovative faculty member for this contributing (part-time) position in the Ph.D. in Social Work and the DSW programs. Key responsibilities include teaching courses and mentoring student research.

Faculty members use the LMS to interact with students, provide timely feedback, and maintain online availability. Graduate-level faculty may attend residencies domestically or internationally while contributing to scholarly discussions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or DSW in social work from an accredited university.
• MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Experience chairing dissertation committees.
• Strong record of scholarly publications or presentations.
• Minimum 3 years teaching at the degree level; online teaching preferred.
• Minimum 3 years post-MSW social work practice.
• Commitment to diverse adult learners and Walden's social change mission.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and leveraging technology in learning.
• Proficiency with SPSS and NVivo preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses via the LMS and mentor student research.
