Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD or EdD/related doctoral degree preferred.
  • Candidates should hold an active professional license in mental health (LPC, LMFT, LP) or be a certified School Counselor.
  • Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seeks to incorporate Christian faith into their adjunct role.
  • Implements a course syllabus for each course, following institutional guidelines.
  • Provides timely, quality feedback to students via electronic communication and other methods.
  • Evaluates students using diverse assessment methods and informs them of progress.
  • Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
  • Submits grades, paperwork and forms promptly.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Education

Doctoral degree preferred
Licensed mental health professional (LPC, LMFT, or LP) or a certified School Counselor
Previous college/university teaching experience preferred
