Overview

Coco Coders is an online coding school for children aged 6-14. We inspire kids to learn the language of the future through creatively themed coding lessons online, using our STEM.org certified computing curriculum. Our goal is to teach core coding principles and their real-world applications.

Role Description

We’re seeking energetic US-based teachers who can motivate students to collaborate, be creative, and develop critical thinking skills. Teachers should be positive, energetic, passionate about teaching, and adaptable. Lessons last 60 minutes with provided lesson plans. This is a contractor position.

Requirements

• Infectiously enthusiastic and inspiring to children
• Interest in technology and coding
• Technologically proficient
• Confident working with children aged 6-14
• Ability to simplify complex subjects
• Adaptable and quick-thinking
• Reside in the United States
• Available 5-20 hours per week

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

• Coding knowledge or computer science qualification
• Experience with special educational needs and disabilities
