Language Trainers is seeking a Mandarin Chinese teacher to conduct online lessons for a student in Colorado. The role requires comfort teaching online, having a personal computer with fast internet, and prior teaching/translation experience is valued.

Ideal candidates may be native Italian speakers or hold a teaching degree, with start ASAP. Compensation is USD 15 per hour, with full training on the software provided.

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company's motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We might have a job for you as a Mandarin Chinese teacher. This student wishes to have classes online. Classes should be held once per week , the client is available f rom Mondays to Fridays after 4pm MST, or at any time at weekends, Colorado, United States time. He wants to start lessons asap. The student's current level of Chinese is Beginner. Motivation to learn Chinese: I am currently an HSK1 learner of Standard Chinese, putonghua, erhua pronunciation. It will take me a long time, but my ultimate goals are to obtain fluency in Standard Chinese, a deep (or as deeply as I can as a Westerner) understanding of Chinese cultures, society, history, philosophy, and art and the ability to understand context and nuance within the language.

Compensation would be USD 15 per hour. Please note that we would give full training on the use of the software, but you should:

• be comfortable teaching online
• have your own computer at home and a fast broadband connection

Ideal teacher should:

• Be a native Italian speaker OR hold a teaching degree
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
