Job summary

Keck Graduate Institute invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach SCI 6310 Biotechnology-Based Therapeutics in Spring, 3 credits. The instructor will focus on genomics, proteomics, and development of biologic drugs, with a group project involving a business plan.

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) with at least two years of teaching experience; Canvas LMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a related field; doctoral degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience with active learning preferred.
• Experience with Canvas LMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality student instruction
• Evaluates student performance (e.g., written assignments, examinations, in-class activities)
• Provides remedial instruction as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
