Job description

Job Title : Online Beauty Artist– Full Time, hourly

Remote position, work from home ~average of 35 hours per week based on the needs of business)

Reporting Structure : Reports to Assistant Manager Online Service and Selling, Beauty Team

Position Description : The Full Time Online Beauty Artist is responsible for enhancing the online shopping and brand experience by conducting online consultations and addressing customer inquiries in all online consumer engagement types including chat, text, social media, and video for multiple brands. Inquiries may include questions related to product usage, product recommendations, product demonstration, and styling advice.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve customers online by conducting online one to one product recommendation consultations and answering product related inquiries includinglive chat, text chat,video chat, virtual selling and consultations,social media and email.
  • Consistently achieve daily service quality standards and productivity benchmarks.
  • Communicate simultaneously with multiple customers, via chat, in a friendly, personalized and informative manner to recommend products based on needs and preferences.
  • Suggestive sell products (up-sell) via product recommendations.
  • Keep up to date on all web site content, features, promotions, and inventory issues to accurately inform and recommend products to a customer.
  • Attend monthly team conference calls.
  • Maintain multi-brand product knowledge and selling skills by completing all brand education trainings.
  • Support other members of the Customer Service team, Call Center representatives and Consumer Communications department to provide accurate and timely responses.
  • Keep up to date with interdepartmental email communications, policyand company directives.
  • Report errors and issues in a timely manner.

Computer Hardware / Software Requirements :

You will be provided with a corporate laptop to use while employed. Thus, you will be required to download the ELC Secure Authentication app onto a personal mobile device, so that you are able to access an @Estee email address and Office 365 Teams to facilitate secure internal communications.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years brand selling experience at retail level
  • Excellent written and communication skills, including a strong command of the English language and proper grammar
  • Extensive skincare and makeup knowledge and artistry skills
  • Proven outstanding customer service and selling skills
  • Comfortable and at ease with being on camera and consulting with customers one to one
  • A passion and desire to serve and connect with customers to enhance their online shopping experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a quiet, at-home environment
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment, and ability to serve multiple customers simultaneously
  • Ability to work a rotating weekly schedule that will include different days worked, different days off, and can include nights and weekends.
  • Ability to flex-upto a maximum of 40 weekly hours based on business needs.
  • Social Media and Multi-brand experience desired, but not required
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change,new technologies and processes

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr to $30.00 / hr. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
