Job description

Are you looking to make an impact through a rewarding, flexible part-time gig that you can do from home? The Princeton Review is looking to bring on additional Advanced Placement (AP) Test Prep teachers and tutors for fulfilling work that can make a difference.

As an AP instructor, you will be expected to:
  • AP teaching experience in a high school setting within the past 3 years
  • AP test familiarity strongly preferred
  • Instruct students in a dynamic and supportive manner online in both one-on-one and group classroom environments
  • Adapt to students’ needs and keep them engaged with the material
  • Have familiarity with the AP exam(s) in your particular subject area(s)
  • Motivate your students through a results-oriented, time-tested Princeton Review curriculum in order to build stronger, more confident learners
  • Model professionalism and accountability at all times by showing up to class on time, replying to students in a timely manner, and holding students accountable for assignments
  • Create an open, safe, and positive learning environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree earned or in progress
  • Confident and engaging discussion leadership
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Availability on nights and/or weekends
  • Applicants must pass a qualifying exam
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and computer in a reliably quiet location
  • Experience teaching online preferred
  • Experience with AP-level instruction strongly preferred

Compensation:

Pay: $25-$50 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location
