Job Summary:

Join our global team as an online AP Chemistry teacher and immerse yourself in a premium one-on-one teaching environment. Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver personalized, high-quality instruction in a one-on-one virtual setting, adapting to each student's unique learning needs.
2. Utilize diverse teaching strategies and digital tools to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
3. Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adjust teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
4. Plan and execute clear course schedules, detailing session content and assessment timelines.
5. Conduct professional, interactive live sessions, leveraging online learning resources to enhance the educational experience.
6. Set relevant homework, design and administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback to encourage student growth.
7. Develop educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.
8. Efficiently manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it organized with assignments and assessments for easy student access.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting (please note, while valuable, we are unable to count tutoring experience towards this requirement).
2. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in the subject area you will be teaching.
3. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
4. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative education methods.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of the AP/US Diploma Curricula, with the ability to dedicate at least 15-20 hours weekly for 6-9 months once you take a student.
