Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking an Aisles Online Shopper to accurately select the best quality groceries for online orders, from produce to pantry staples. You will ensure proper temperature during fulfillment and prepare orders for customer pickup in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning and bagging items, handling payments at POS, and substituting products when needed. This role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and independent work with strong customer service

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer warmly and assisting them with their needs throughout the store
• Accurately select groceries ordered online by customers, choosing the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products
• Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones
• Ensure products maintain proper temperature throughout the entire fulfillment process
• Place gathered orders in storage at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly prior to the customer's arrival
• Cart orders to and place them in the holding area for customer pickup
• Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles
• Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments
• Substitute products for customers upon request or when items are unavailable
• Continually monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment
• Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers
• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelines
• Pitch in with other tasks or special projects as they come up
