Qualifications

• M.F.A. in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Web Design, or bachelor’s degree with active pursuit of MFA.
• Demonstrable professional expertise and experience in the discipline to be taught.
• Professional portfolio.
• Documented successful teaching experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Competency in online delivery systems.
• Prior experience with Canvas preferred.
• Must be a born-again Christian.
• Must agree with and abide Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Work Place Standards.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Subject to verification of credentials and other information required by law.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Studio Art, Web Design, and Graphic Design courses.
• Teach courses according to course objectives, syllabus, and department-developed content.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Motivate and assist students in completing course learning objectives.
• Maintain academic credentials and discipline expertise.
