Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach an online ALHS 1090 Medical Terminology for Allied Health Science course online beginning Spring Semester 2027. The successful applicant will implement course materials supporting stated initiatives and use teaching techniques to help students achieve learning outcomes for the online ALHS 1090 course.

All students must come to campus for midterm and final exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with a concentration in an Allied Health discipline with a firm knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology.
• Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.

Responsabilités

• Implement course materials that support initiatives.
• Provide competent and comprehensive instruction in Medical Terminology courses.
• Discipline appropriate teaching and assessment techniques in classroom.
• Maintain student records.
• Regularly evaluate student achievement and provide student feedback.
• Complete ALL required trainings.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in communication with students, administrators, faculty & staff.
