Job summary

You will develop syllabi, use LMS tools, align with accreditation standards, and provide timely feedback. Experience with adult learners and postsecondary teaching is preferred; remote delivery may be utilized.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master’s degree in another discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in English/Reading or related content area.
• Postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with adult learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned English Comprehension courses per approved outlines and outcomes.
• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction emphasizing reading, vocabulary, and writing.
• Develop and maintain course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance with timely feedback.
• Maintain attendance and grading records and submit reports on time.
• Create an inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
