Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites qualified educators to join our online adjunct faculty in the College of Education. You will deliver instruction for Data-Driven Literacy Assessment in an online format, using current best practices in literacy, assessment, and intervention for diverse learners.

Applicants should hold a doctorate or master’s degree in education, state teaching certification, and substantial K-12 teaching experience, with a focus on reading or literacy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field and state teacher certification
• Masters in Education or related field with state reading endorsement or reading specialist certificate and two areas of expertise
• Minimum of five years of K-12 teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly online discussions and mirror class expectations
• Adhere to grading deadlines and provide timely feedback
• Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes
• Model the university’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission
