Job summary

Strayer University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online undergraduate and graduate accounting courses for the winter quarter starting January 4, 2027. Adjuncts coach and mentor students to foster a love of learning and adapt to diverse styles, with strong engagement through the online platform.

Applicants should hold a Doctorate in Accounting or a related Doctorate with accounting focus (or Masters in accounting) and a CPA license.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred.
• 5 years professional experience in accounting preferred.
• Prefer teaching experience in CPA review courses.
• Some fraud prevention experience strongly preferred.
• CPA license required (active or inactive).

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and provide high-quality instruction.
• Enhance the curriculum using technology and videos.
• Use the online learning platform to enrich student learning.
• Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to provide timely feedback.
• Establish high standards and explain how students will be evaluated.
