Job summary

Slipstream Life Sciences is seeking a OneTrust Solution Architect to design and lead the technical architecture behind OneTrust implementations for life sciences clients, with a focus on Consent Management and Data Discovery deployments.

The ideal candidate combines strong data architecture and integration skills with privacy regulation knowledge, and can lead configuration efforts alongside admins and developers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture, data integration, or solution architecture.
• Hands-on OneTrust experience, preferably including Consent Management and Data Discovery.
• Experience integrating OneTrust with CRM systems (Salesforce and/or Veeva).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
• Ability to produce ERDs, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams.
• Understanding privacy data types (PII, PHI) and US privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead OneTrust Consent Management integrations with Salesforce and Veeva.
• Design and support OneTrust Data Discovery module integrations across cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
• Produce and maintain architecture documents (ERDs, data dictionaries, data flow diagrams).
• Lead OneTrust configuration activities with admins and developers.
• Translate privacy requirements into practical designs aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, and delivery teams to align privacy decisions with business needs.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, client workshops, and scoping for privacy engagements.
• Maintain reusable integration pattern docs for internal knowledge base.
• Represent Slipstream Life Sciences at industry events (10–20% travel).

Slipstream Life Sciences is a life sciences exclusive consultancy specializing in Salesforce and privacy technology solutions. Our team of consultants, architects, developers, and privacy specialists partners with life sciences companies to design and deliver pragmatic, compliant, and scalable technology solutions across the commercial, medical, and patient services landscape.

Slipstream Life Sciences is looking for a OneTrust Solution Architect to join our Privacy Solutions practice. This role is responsible for designing and leading the technical architecture behind OneTrust implementations for life sciences clients, with a particular focus on Consent Management integrations and Data Discovery deployments. The ideal candidate combines strong data architecture and integration fundamentals with a working understanding of privacy regulation and health data, and is comfortable leading configuration efforts in partnership with admins and developers rather than working purely as an individual contributor.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect and lead OneTrust Consent Management integrations with downstream and upstream systems, including Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud) and Veeva (Vault CRM, Vault Platform).


• Design and support OneTrust Data Discovery module integrations across modern data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and AWS.


• Produce and maintain core architecture documentation, including entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams, for privacy-sensitive data domains.


• Lead OneTrust configuration activities, directing and supporting admins and developers through build, testing, and deployment.


• Translate health and life sciences privacy requirements, including PII, PHI, and other sensitive personal data categories, into practical technical designs aligned with frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA/CPRA.


• Partner with legal, compliance, IT, and Salesforce or Veeva delivery teams to ensure privacy architecture decisions support both business and regulatory requirements.


• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including client workshops, discovery sessions, and scoping support for OneTrust and broader privacy technology engagements.


• Maintain reusable documentation of integration patterns and architectural decisions to support the practice's delivery methodology and internal knowledge base.


• Represent Slipstream Life Sciences at U.S. industry events, client site visits, and conferences as needed (estimated 10-20% travel).

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 7 or more years of experience in data architecture, data integration, or solution architecture roles.


• Direct, hands-on exposure to the OneTrust platform is required, ideally including Consent Management and/or Data Discovery modules.


• Demonstrated experience integrating OneTrust, or a comparable consent or privacy management platform, with CRM systems such as Salesforce and/or Veeva.


• Strong working knowledge of relational databases and modern cloud data platforms, including practical exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and/or AWS.


• Proven ability to independently produce ERDs, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams for complex, multi-system data environments.


• Solid understanding of the types of privacy and personal data (PII, PHI, sensitive or special category data) and how they are handled under major privacy regulations, including U.S. state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA and similar state frameworks).


• Experience leading technical configuration work with the support of admins or developers, rather than working in a purely hands-on-keyboard capacity.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed global teams, including close collaboration with colleagues based in India, EMEA, and other time zones.


• Preferred Qualifications


• OneTrust certification(s), such as OneTrust Certified Professional or module-specific certifications.


• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent.


• Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Platform Developer, or Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud credentials.


• Veeva Vault certifications or prior hands-on experience with Veeva CRM or Vault applications.


• Prior experience within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.


• Broader solution architecture experience in Salesforce or Veeva ecosystems beyond privacy and consent use cases is a plus, but is not required.
