Job summary

Port Angeles School District is seeking an R2 Special Education Base Paraeducator for a one-year assignment at Hamilton Elementary. The role provides instructional, behavioral, social-emotional, personal, and supervisory support to students with significant and/or complex needs, under certificated staff supervision.

Responsibilities include helping students access instruction, participate in school activities, develop independence and functional skills, and progress toward IEP goals.

• Assist students in accessing instruction and developing independence and functional skills.
• Support progress toward IEP goals under certificated staff supervision.
• May include recess/lunch supervision as needed.
