Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate required.
• Preferred Associate’s Degree or 48 college hours, or pass equivalency test for Highly Qualified Status.
• CPR, first aid and AED certification may be required (e.g., PPCD).
• One year experience in instructional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to an individual student with disabilities.
• Assist with academic instruction, behavior management, personal care, and medical needs under supervision.
• Support SHARS documentation requirements.
