Job summary

Kindly Direct Care seeks caring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-to-one support to adults with developmental disabilities in Monmouth County, NJ. Roles involve hands-on personal care, companionship, and community participation, with focus on preserving dignity, privacy, and independence.

Assignments vary by individual; higher-support cases may have higher rates. Onboarding and training are provided, and employment is subject to program requirements and background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on personal care and ADLs.
• Patient, respectful, dependable, and attentive to health and safety.
• Ability to follow detailed support instructions and communicate concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, hygiene, meals, and other ADLs as required by the plan.
• Provide mobility, positioning, transfer, or safety support when trained and authorized.
• Offer companionship and help participation in community activities and meaningful routines.
• Encourage independence and self-sufficiency where possible.
• Follow care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training.
• Monitor changes or concerns and report promptly.
