Job summary

The Vanguard School & Services in Malvern, PA, is seeking a dedicated One-To-One Aide to support a student under the supervision of a certified special education teacher. The role focuses on academic, social, and behavior programming designed to maintain progress toward IEP/FBA goals.

Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, observing behavior, and documenting progress, while coordinating with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent; or a high school graduate with two years of relevant experience.
• Experience as PCA or TSS with behavior support training preferred.
• Ability to engage students and maintain cooperative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist a certified special education teacher with academic, social, and behavioral programming.
• Implement lesson plans, reinforce instruction, and document progress.
• Observe and redirect behavior; maintain records for programs and outside agencies.
• Accompany student to arts, PE, and therapy sessions and assist specialty teachers.
• Support testing, recordkeeping, and progress monitoring for the student.
• Communicate with parents and staff about progress; attend meetings as required.
• Maintain a nurturing, safe, and organized learning environment.
