Qualifications

• DPT from an accredited program (required).
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license or eligibility.
• Strong interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, strength, and return-to-sport.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Sports/performance or strength & conditioning experience is a plus.
• Experienced clinicians and motivated new grads with strong sports/orthopedic experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat athletes and active adults with orthopedic and sports injuries.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation, strength, and return-to-sport programs.
• Provide high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy within The Lab's sports-performance environment.
• Collaborate with trainers and performance professionals to bridge rehab and athletic performance.
• Build relationships with local coaches, trainers, football and athletic programs, physicians, and referral partners.
• Help grow The Lab's physical therapy program and presence within the Austin athletic community.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and clinical documentation per Texas PT requirements.
• Potentially supervise and collaborate with PTAs as the program grows.
