Job summary

Bright Pathways is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide one-on-one support to a child in their home, school, daycare, or community. You’ll tailor instruction to each child’s strengths and goals, helping develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills for greater independence.

You’ll collaborate with supervisors, receive mentorship, and contribute to a compassionate, family-centered team dedicated to meaningful progress and individualized growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who benefit from individualized behavioral, developmental, communication, or learning support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Passion for helping children reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to one child at a time in home, school, daycare, or community.
• Help with communication, social skills, and daily living tasks.
• Support emotional regulation and strategies for handling frustration or changes in routine.
• Facilitate community activities and practice everyday life skills.
• Create engaging learning opportunities through play, crafts, books, and outdoor activities.
• Celebrate milestones and progress with each child.
