Job summary

LEARN Academy is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Henderson, NV. You will work 1–1.5 days per week in a school setting, delivering evidence-based interventions and collaborating with teachers and families to support student communication goals.

You will evaluate students, develop and implement IEP-aligned plans, monitor progress, and maintain documentation. Training staff and mentoring assistants are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements.
• Current NV licensure or willing to obtain.
• Current NV DOE certification or willing to obtain.
• Current TB test or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ communication abilities.
• Develop and implement speech-language therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy strategies into curriculum.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress.
• Provide trainings to instructional staff and supervise assistants or students.
• Support access to curriculum using assistive technology and communication strategies.
