Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one with a student in the school setting in or near the Smithfield, NC area.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $33.00–$35.00 with weekly paychecks, plus benefits such as health, dental, vision, HSA and life insurance, PTO and a 401(k) plan. Responsibilities include direct nursing care for students with complex medical needs, and potential transportation duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (e.g., trach, vent, G-tube, seizures).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.
