Job summary

Senior Helpers of Richmond is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe and independent. You’ll tailor care to each client’s needs and support their daily activities.

Responsibilities include engaging clients in conversations, assisting with walking and dressing, preparing meals, and reporting on clients’ progress. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate nature with a passion for helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
