Job summary

Just-In Home Care in Jarrettsville seeks a dedicated Home Care Aide for one-on-one in-home support. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with reliable scheduling and local client assignments.

You’ll provide daily living assistance, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and documentation for the RN or supervisor. A Home Health Aide certificate or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of paid home-health, hospice, or facility experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days).
• Strong written and verbal communication to update digital care logs.

Responsibilities

• Personalized daily living assistance: transfer clients, assist with bathing and mobility.
• Healthy home environment: change linens, light laundry, keep areas hazard-free.
• Medication reminders and basic vitals documentation.
• Mind-body engagement: read aloud, reminisce, simple chair exercises.
• Detailed reporting: document care notes and inform RN or supervisor.
