Job summary

Oasis Therapy Services in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one rehabilitation in an assisted living setting. This PRN position supports residents under the supervision of a licensed OT.

You will address ADLs, mobility, strength, and safety; document therapies in Net Health; and collaborate with caregivers to optimize residents’ health and independence.

Qualifications

• Active and current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Geriatric, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Follow treatment plans addressing ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Monitor residents' responses and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
• Complete accurate Net Health documentation and collaborate with the care team.
