Job summary

Nova Leap Home Health is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide individualized, one-on-one care to older adults in their homes. You will focus on a single client at a time, instead of multiple residents in a facility.

We offer flexible scheduling, a supportive local team, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with the people you care for. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• Experience with older adults.
• Home care or related caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Assist with walking, mobility, positioning, transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Support daily living activities.
• Provide medication reminders and permitted assistance with self-administration.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Provide respite support to family caregivers.
• Monitor client condition and report changes.
• Maintain a safe home environment.
• Follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Assist with specialized care activities when trained.
