Job summary

Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a skilled Contract Endodontist to provide specialty services one day per week at our Tropicana location in Las Vegas, NV. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and support to focus on high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a DDS/DMD with a postgraduate Endodontics program, Nevada license, CPR/BLS, and liability insurance. Join a collaborative team with access to referrals and administrative support to ensure exceptional

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate specialty program in Endodontics.
• Active, unrestricted Nevada dental license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Professional liability insurance meeting contractual requirements.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
• Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with referring general dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow applicable infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality specialty care.
