Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is seeking an Oncology Veterinary Technician to support our oncology team through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up with compassionate care for pets and families.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with diagnostics (labs, imaging, CT), and maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, and other specialty teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed/credentialed veterinary technician or experienced veterinary assistant.
• Oncology or specialty medicine experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and chemotherapy under oncologist supervision.
• Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT.
• Support oncology appointments, patient flow, and scheduling.
