Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills and strong client service are essential.
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task under stress.
• Ability to safely restrain animals using proper techniques.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations, reviewing care plans, and performing tests and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering meds, and wound care.
• Assist with examinations and operations by preparing supplies and restraining patients as directed.
• Provide comprehensive veterinary care using anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology knowledge.
• Maintain medical records and document patient conditions and treatments.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and participate in training and education activities.
