BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Oncology Veterinary Technician to join our team in Cary, NC. The role focuses on treating and monitoring oncology patients, assisting clinicians, and communicating with clients throughout cancer care and treatment planning.

Candidates should have at least two years of specialty hospital experience; VTS credentialing is eligible for compensation commensurate with experience. The position offers a competitive pay range and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum two years’ experience in a specialty veterinary hospital.
• Must possess strong communication skills and compassion.
• Candidate may have VTS credentialing and compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform physical exams and monitor heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, mucous membranes, and capillary refill.
• Perform phlebotomy and place peripheral IV catheters.
• Safely dispense and administer oral and injectable chemotherapy agents.
• Support clinicians with patient care and client communication during treatment and hospitalization.
• Discharge patients with appropriate home-care instructions and follow-up plans.
