Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Acute Care (9 West) unit at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. The ANM will support the Nurse Manager, supervise staff, and ensure the 24/7 operation of the designated unit.

The role includes directing orientation, training, and development of staff, and providing input into performance evaluations. This is a leadership position within a VA Acute Care setting.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Current - full - active - and unrestricted RN license in the United States.
