Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Highland Office team. The Triage Nurse will handle incoming patient calls, coordinating with the Head Nurse and physicians to address concerns and route questions appropriately.

Ideal candidates have hematology/oncology experience and current CPR certification, with BLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment. Join an established oncology network dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of residence.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS within 30 days of hire or as required; FCS provides BLS course within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• The Triage Nurse answers incoming calls regarding patients.
• Consults with Head Nurse and/or physician to present patient’s problem and resolve it or direct calls to the appropriate person.
