TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Ukiah, California. This 13-week assignment features 40 hours per week and a 10-hour night shift.

The Oncology RN will provide care to cancer patients, administer chemotherapy under physician guidance, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience and BLS and CHEMO certification; additional certifications

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and CHEMO certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking.
• Monitor cancer patients and assist with chemotherapy under physician supervision.
• Support oncology patients and families in a fast-paced environment.
