Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Research Assistant to support translational research in the Holowatyj Laboratory within the Hematology/Oncology division. The role involves biospecimen processing, storage, and data handling in compliance with human subjects research protocols.

The candidate will assist with study procedures, laboratory operations, and biorepository activities, contributing to ongoing clinical trials and collaborative efforts within our academic health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field is required.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, teamwork are required.
• Prior wet lab experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Convey knowledge of policies and regulations governing human subjects research.
• Follow clinical/translational study protocols and perform procedures.
• Prepare Laboratory for biospecimen processing and experimentation.
• Maintain biospecimen storage and tracking with the Biorepository.
• Assist with data entry and documentation for regulatory compliance.
