Responsibilities

• Support oncology team with patient care and safe handling.
• Prepare rooms, gather supplies, and assist with chemotherapy appointments.
• Monitor patient comfort and maintain a low-stress environment.
• Clean and disinfect oncology treatment areas according to safety protocols.
• Stock and organize oncology supplies.
• Assist with patient flow, discharge readiness, and client communication.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient identifiers are up to date.
• Observe patients and alert the team to changes in condition.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support technicians and veterinarians with oncology patient care, including safe handling and restraint of patients undergoing diagnostics and treatments
• Assist with chemotherapy appointments by preparing rooms, gathering supplies, and ensuring proper safety and cleanliness protocols are followed
• Monitor patient comfort by changing bedding, walking patients, and maintaining a clean, low‑stress environment
• Clean and disinfect treatment areas following oncology‑specific safety protocols
• Assist with stocking and organizing supplies for oncology services
• Support client experience by helping with patient flow, discharge readiness, and general client communication as directed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all treatments, forms, and patient identifiers are up to date
• Observe patients closely and alert technicians to any changes in condition or behavior
