Christian Hospital in the St. Louis area seeks an apprentice/associate nurse to provide direct patient care under supervision, learning vital nursing skills in a high-volume hospital setting.

You will support the nursing team, educate patients and families, and help prepare patients for tests and procedures while developing clinical competencies. A BSN pathway is encouraged and Fundamentals of Nursing completion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited RN program and progressing toward licensure.
• Pursuing an accredited BSN program as part of ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care under supervision.
• Assist nurse with patient and family education and safety.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment for each patient.
• Implements direct patient care under nursing team supervision.
• Collects clinical data and reports abnormal findings.
