Job summary
AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director for the Oncology Business Unit Strategy in Gaithersburg. You will shape the oncology portfolio by leveraging market insights, analytics, forecasting, and strategic evaluations, driving growth opportunities and portfolio value.
You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate data into strategic insights, develop executive materials, and support planning and portfolio management activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, MBA (PENDING) referenced as preferred.
- Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, commercial analytics, portfolio management, equity research, or healthcare strategy.
- Advanced MS 365 with strong Excel & PowerPoint and Power Platform (Power BI) skills.
Responsibilities
- Support BD opportunity assessments with business cases and financial valuations.
- Contribute to Oncology portfolio strategy through market assessments and analytics.
- Deliver analyses on market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and portfolio trade-offs.
- Create executive-level materials and strategic briefings for leadership discussions.
- Support strategic planning, portfolio management, and forecasting activities.
