Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) to provide oncology social work services in a hospital setting at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore. The role focuses on biopsychosocial assessments, care planning, and crisis intervention for patients and families navigating cancer treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a Maryland LCSW-C or equivalent, at least three years of hospital-based social work experience, and one year in Hospice or

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited school of social work.
• Maryland LCSW-C license required (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years hospital-based social work experience.
• Minimum 1 year Hospice or Palliative care experience.
• Experience documenting in EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide crisis counseling, suicide assessment, and short-term counseling.
• Coordinate resources, discharge planning, and care transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Support education, engagement, and advance care planning with families.
