Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Social Worker (MSW) to provide direct patient care and coordinate psychosocial services in our Medical Oncology and Radiation Clinic. You will perform psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, intervene and educate patients, families and staff, and assist with discharge planning.

Minimum requirements include a CSWE-accredited MSW and one year of clinical social work experience; Virginia licensure is preferred.

Formación

• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
• One year of clinical social work experience (CSW Level 2) is required.
• LCSW preferred for hire.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete psychosocial assessment and develop treatment plans aligned with health care plan.
• Provide psychosocial intervention and education to patients, families, staff and social work students.
• Coordinate discharge planning and community referrals; participate in service area meetings and patient care conferences.
