Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Seven or more years of experience in social work (MSW).
• One or more years supervising Medical Social Work staff in acute or non-acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Manages clinical and administrative operations of the Oncology Social Work Service.
• Provides direct psychosocial care across the cancer continuum.
• Supervises social workers and coordinates staff activities.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with cancer program standards.
• Develops psychosocial policies and SOPs.
• Prepares reports and outcomes for performance improvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Manages patient assistance programs via Phoebe Foundation.
• Provides crisis intervention and counseling.
