Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license active in state of practice, with willingness to obtain oncology certification.
• Ability to perform essential nursing functions and communicate with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care and administer medications per standards.
• Assist providers during procedures, tests and exams.
• Observe and report patient condition and drug reactions to the physician.
• Coordinate appointment flow and prioritize emergencies.
• Greet patients, collect health history, vitals, and nursing assessments.
• Educate patients and families about diagnostics, medications, nutrition, health maintenance.
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies; label pathology specimens when needed.
