Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse; multiple department certifications may be required.
• Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration following SSH policies; transcription and recording of medications.
• Develop, evaluate and update individualized plan of care and document outcomes.
• Initiate admission assessment within 8 hours of admissions and identify teaching needs.
• Document all patient care per nursing policy, unit standards and disease processes.
• Assess and document pain, patient comfort and responses to interventions.
• Promote patient/family centered care and active participation in care planning.
