Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Medical Oncology unit on the night shift. The role involves caring for oncology patients, chemotherapy administration readiness, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN/ADN or diploma and must obtain NC licensure within 90 days if hired; BLS is required. 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage and a 15k commitment bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s/Associate nursing program or diploma is required.
• All RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years of start date and complete within five years.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients per physician orders and policies.
• Assist other nursing personnel and act as unit leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and document patient status.
