Job summary

Trinity Health in Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our 11 East Oncology Unit. This full-time position supports adults with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, using telemetry to manage care for a diverse patient population.

Solid tumor and hematologic cases, including pain control and complex family dynamics, are common here. The role requires Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS for specific departments, with a BSN preferred and a plan to obtain it within five years.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program eligible to take the NCLEX and obtain RN license in Michigan.
• Active Michigan RN license; BLS; ACLS required for selected departments.
• BSN within five years of hire or transfer to RN role.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach-back methodology to educate patient and family.
• Communicates patient status during rounds, handoffs and consultations.
• Follows HIPAA policies and Trinity Health values.
