Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years in oncology with Stepdown/PCU experience.
• Active RN license or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS; chemo certification preferred.
• Proficient reading/interpreting EKG strips.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5-6.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood products and chemotherapy.
• Care for 35-bed oncology unit patients, medical and radiation oncology.
• Float to other units as needed based on census.
• Monitor for dysrhythmias and read EKG strips.
• Be prepared to work every other weekend and holidays.
