Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a registered nurse for the medical oncology unit to provide comprehensive nursing care for cancer patients, medical step-down and overflow. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per the provider's orders while working with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, chemo handling, and patient/family education.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with Ohio???
• BSN preferred or equivalent nursing experience in oncology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care per physician plan.
• Administer medications and treatments including chemotherapy per orders.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and update care plans with the team.
• Process orders accurately and follow up on med changes.
• Document clearly and maintain patient safety throughout shifts.
