Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a specific patient population as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role includes directing and overseeing care through delegation and coordination across nursing peers, physicians, and support services.

The ideal candidate will hold an NJ RN license, pursue a BSN within three years, and have six months of nursing experience or be in the Nurse Residency program. You must obtain BLS/CPR within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability to improve patient lives, exceptional teamwork, ongoing education, and delivering high-quality patient-focused care.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients.
• Directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
